If you want a good read on a rainy day with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, this is the book for you! The stories and poems are quirky and immensely readable. These are tales of ordinary people observed in seemingly ordinary situations, yet dig a little deeper and you find darker depths. Sikumi, in "On the Edge of the Sea Ice" is haunted by an incident in the past - an accident or a murder? Robert in "Ah Yes! I Remember Emma.." seems to live in a parallel universe - or maybe we all do? There's also humour and good character observation. This book is fun, is well written and will also make you think just a little bit more about people and how we live. I warmly recommend it. All profits from the sale of this book will go to local Abergavenny charities.
