Charles Lucas' second book of photos with Round Bend Press takes a close look at rust and finds new expression in the process. This is an eccentric examination of the effects of nature on man made structures as Lucas explores color. Each picture is a re-examination of the developmental effects of rust, suggesting an alternative view of the studied object and a differing interpretation of rust beyond its purely scientific status.--Buddy Dooley
