I have to say, as a dog handler, Controlled Agression has given me tremendous insight into the work of the decoy, and how they should act during training. This is a book that I have read thru twice and will continue to refer to as my resource. It covers everything you need to know especially personal protection and police work. I am able to better direct young decoys based on Mr. Bradshaws work. Anyone handling dogs, decoying and training protection dogs should own this book. It is a must have book in my opinion. I look forward to reading your next book. Thanks again!
Not only is this book fantastic for new comers but this is informative for those who already have some knowledge about dogs. Mr Bradshaw is an exceptional teacher. I recommend purchasing the book and then if able too, get to one of his seminars. Money WELL spent.
Gerry Bradshaw is a trained teacher and scientist and his book reflects that. I found it very valuable in not only trining my own dog but in doing reseach in how training dogs and leading people are about the same. This is an excellent read and very informative.
"Very Informative" I purchased this book a few months back, and found it to be very informative and an all around great asset to my training. The only regret I have is that I didn't purchase it sooner. This book takes you through the basics of selection testing a young dog, to working on developing the grip, to targeting specific areas of a person to bite. I think one of the best topics is the man orientation training, teaching the dog to want to fight the man, not just play with a sleeve. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to train a Police Patrol Dog, or personal protection dog. Great Job Mr. Bradshaw
"Controlled aggresion!" I enjoyed this book. It was worth the money. I like the play by play breakdown of testing and training, that was a huge help. More picture would have been nice, but a good purchase either way. -ted efthymiadis
