Eight-legged horror ensues when Texas state troopers find the small town of Eida completely covered in a dome of silk. Inside the dome, residents struggle to survive while a mercenary attempts to find out what created the dome. Outside the dome, the state police and National Guard attempt a rescue, only to learn the terrible truth, a truth that is totally beyond their ability to deal with.
