The story of Newton's discovery of color, a history of the science of light, and inspiration for future scientists. Kelli Keriotis is an amazing, creative, and artistic kindergarten teacher at Baden Academy Charter School in Western Pennsylvania. She works to discover new ways to create an immersive, arts-integrated, and science-focused experience for her students each year. Kelli has been a Grow a Generation Distinguished Educator Research Fellow in 2016, 2017, and again in 2018. She works with mentors and her kindergarten classroom to write, illustrate, and publish a children's book each year investigating a new perspective on color. Kelli is trained as an art teacher and prides herself on having a creative kindergarten classroom where every child celebrates the imaginative.
