This book is well put-together and easy to understand, which was reassuring given that the forums have gotten me scared about the complexity of the upper-level materials. It is a LOT of work for my 7-year-old, especially given that we're also doing First Language Lessons (there's not much overlap), so I have a) cut down some of the writing selections for her, but more importantly b) decided to cover one "week" every TWO weeks, using this book through the spring and summer sessions before starting Fall in the fall. A nice complement to our other language, literature and writing materials!
