American Composer/pianist Michael Guy L'Ecluse also composes chamber and symphonic music with a jazz influence. Try his first quartet subtitled "S.Q. Blue" completed in 2010 in 2 movements with a third Finale movement just added in 2011. This movement adds to the beautifully baroque/classical theme of the slow Largamente of the middle movement by ending the quartet with a wonderfully up-tempo and up-beat finale that was actually based on one of his best received jazz piano charts from the 1984 concert tour. It gives a very exciting finish to the quartet and should be a crowd pleaser. SQ Blue an eclectic fusion in 3 large sections. A very "jazz blues" influence, Celtic flavored with shades of a Bartok influence in movement #1. This is a new 2013 full-size study score (8.5x11)For performing groups a book of parts can be made at cost. Contact the composer from his Lulu storefront.
