I helped to edit and format this book to get it out via my imprint, Gullinbursti Press, and there were moments when I was moved to tears. Too many people tend to focus on either the dark devouring side or the pretty blooming side of Nerthus and forget that She is both. Nic does well with showing the many facets of this Goddess, and it is essential reading for all who love the Vanir or want to know Them better. (And it's worth it to get a hard copy just for the cover art, done by the talented Pia van Ravenstein.)
