Aug 20, 2017This is a book for the aspiring womaniser. It serves as well as a guide through a lot of PUA concepts and experiences that simply can't be handed in a textbook. For people in the middle of the journey it serves as a comparison and alleviates the sensation of being alone on this. You can see how some events repeat itself, such as boyfriends calling just before a notch and all the mental barriers we must carefully lie down in order to get laid. I give it 5 stars because you simply don't find this in other player memories. And is well written. Not just in a blogger or clear writing sense but in a literary sense. It's actually better than most literature today because of his raw sincerity and most important: it is written in a red pill paradigm, and narrates the shift from a chump to a player, and this is something very hard considering the fair amount of brainwashing we get in all the world. And it's very comforting to see the ways in and out of all this even if you are in a different... More > part of the world with a totally different culture, that is to say: this work is relevant not only to the anglosphere but to aspiring players in every other culture as well. Krauser's works have been major aids in my development and I think that he has reached authority as a big one in the manosphere, along with Roosh, Rollo Tomassi and Heartiste.< Less
Mar 19, 2017Ball's Deep isn't simply an autobiography. It is an inner game book. Weaved into this book are multiple learning lessons for guys beginning their daygame journey. Learning about the author's journey of self transformation can help one understand how to re-wire one's own perceptions about themselves and women. The beginning of one's daygame journey is by its very nature a painful experience. All beginners are confronted by self doubt, low self-esteem and many ego barriers. By describing his own journey in a very honest and transparent manner, readers can learn how to identify and hopefully address their own shortcomings.
Mar 2, 2015comes from a place of misanthropy and inferiority and jealousy. however ,is well written. I just hope he doesn't end up chasing young girls in the phillipines as I fear he might
Dec 22, 2014This book is awesome. Why? -Honesty, Nick mentions the many failures he came across and amount of sheer effort he had to go through -Any man who works hard tirelessly towards a goal (irrespective of what it is usually) and meets it, is worth applauding -Laced with Humor yet intellectual at the same time -Authentic, you don't get the feeling that he is trying to sell something. With his successes with women, he mentions that there is no guarantee of happiness in doing so. This alone puts him on top. As you feel other PUAs are trying to cash in and sell something. Hope being authentic continues going forward -Takes courage to be so honest with one's feelings, emotions and thoughts as in not caring for other people's approval. That's awesome!
Dec 13, 2014This is a high quality book giving lots of value to the reader who is interested in the subject covered. It's very well written, very readable, relentlessly interesting, and it gives useful information. It reads like a good novel and yet it imparts helpful info. The 'deep thinking' analysis and 'wide scope perspective' material (historical/biological) is fascinating and impressive. I really hope Nick Krauser will write further volumes of memoirs. Next I will buy his other books.
