Thirty-one authors tackle an auspicious challenge in this series of anthologies from Pure Slush books. I'm reading one story per day, and reviewing them at my Ramey Writes blog in case anyone wants to chime in on particular stories. What I find amazing about this collection is the sheer variety of approaches to the task at hand (writing a cohesive mini-novel through a series of flash-sized chapters on a particular day of each month). The skill level is very high, as is typical for the Pure Slush books. Highly recommended for readers looking for something unique and ambitious. Also for flash fiction aficionados and people in general who appreciate literary short fiction.
