  I heard an audio file of this piece on http://www.evensongmusic.net/ and came to Lulu to buy it, such was the instant appeal. It is not too hard to learn although after a time the piece begins to pall. All you need do is put it away until the mood grabs you again and you pull it off your shelf for a fresh look. The page turns are tricky to manage but, as some of the music repeats, you can mark in portions which recur to save turning. You can get away without having a powerful solo reed although it does help to have one available for the final section. The music is suitable for any joyous occasion, Weddings, Carol Services or a plain Evensong. In a recital you could pair this with the same composer's Aria. I recommend it.
