'A Discourse Concerning Devils and Spirits' is a Magical text from the late 1600's.It is one of the more interesting text I have came across in my study. This text was included as a appendix in Reginald Scot's 'Discoveries of Witchcraft'. This Appendix was added by a unknown author about 75 years after the original printing of the 'Discoveries..'. "A Discourse Concerning Devils and Spirits' was written by a person who favored magic himself, seemingly a practitioner. Although no information on the author is left.It Is possibly the first to mention making a circle of protection with the imagination. it has a surprising modernity to it. ( This is my first attempt at editing. I edited most of it but I chose to leave various words in the original form they were written in by the author)- Bobby Black
(the original text ( 'Discoveries of Witchcraft' - Appendix pg 492 - 542) a long with the omitted sigils can be found for free at Archive.org )
