About
Fred Dungan
Drafted into the U.S. Army in February, 1968, the author becomes a Military Policeman in the Panama Canal Zone where he polices bars and brothels along with pursuing Cold War Communist insurgents. Rumbling through the triple canopy jungle, he survives on a protein rich diet of iguanas and grubs. Update to 40 years later: unable to stand or walk, wheelchair bound, he now writes for a living.
