One of the gifts I had in school was taking what we learned and breaking it down into easier, more digestible information. You're learning new words, products, techniques, and it can be overwhelming. Think of these books as a supplement to your text book. Simple language, important key concepts highlighted, and much easier to absorb and remember, which will make taking a test easier. They will help you retain what you have learned in school, because the information is broken down into more elementary concepts and ideas.
