Matthias Lataille moved to London, UK in 2005 to improve his English and boost his career as an Intellectual Property lawyer. He soon realised that bartending was much more entertaining and began learning his ABC at the American Bar at The Connaught in Mayfair. He then moved on to lead the bar team at the infamous Green & Red, widely acclaimed Mexican Cantina and Tequila Bar in Shoreditch. During his three years there, he won many awards and built up a strong reputation among his peers in the hospitality industry. Driven by his willingness to share his knowledge and skills, he became a Brand Ambassador for Pernod Ricard in 2011. Meanwhile, Matthias travelled the world feeding his growing passion for food and drinks. Matthias works now as a Senior Brand Ambassador for Martell Cognac within the Leadership Team of the Pernod Ricard UK BEAT (Brand Engagement & Advocacy Team). He is a certified WSET Spirit Educator and overall cocktail lover.
