My name is Donald W. Bogen Jr., Executive Director of MasterBuilders Community Center. I am a Community Organizer and have four young boys and two daughters. As an Elder in COGIC {Church of God In Christ}, I feel this world need people who are able to relate and ready to inspire those who are left behind in life. We all fall down and need someone to help us up. I'm a outgoing person, with the common sense to know everyone "aint" the same or have the same potential. In March 10, 2007 I was involved in a gas explosion, where 23% of the right side of my face and body was cover with second and third degree burns. After surviving I now wake up feeling the need to leave this world better than I found it. I prayed to God and he saved my life. I embrace my faith doing that trying time in my life and it eased my pain. I believed in something bigger than me and my skin grow back with little to no scarring.
