About
Cruising Association EIWS

The European Inland Waterways Section (EIWS), part of the 6,400-member Cruising Association (CA), caters for members cruising almost 30,000 km of European navigable rivers and canals. In addition to the 25 publications shown here, members have access to a wide range of further support for cruising on the European inland waterways, including useful guidance notes and videos on all aspects of inland waterways cruising; advice on layup and refuelling locations; a library and database with over 16,000 pages of useful information and an award-winning information-sharing app, CAptain's Mate, which provides reports posted by members on mooring locations throughout the inland waterways. Members also exchange information and cruising advice via a forum, European Inland Waterways Net, which is an especially valuable resource for cruisers new to the inland waterways.
