Evelyn Pollock's childhood dream was to become a teacher; she fulfilled this dream and much more. After successful careers, first as a teacher then as a School Board Trustee and Chairman of a school board, she spent 25 years as a management consultant specializing in human rights advocacy, training and mediation. (For 15 of those years she was president of her own consulting company, Pollock Consulting Ltd.) Evelyn Pollock retired early to pursue her life-long passion for painting and writing. As an artist she is recognized by the local arts community and involved in organizing local arts and culture events. As a writer, Evelyn has authored many business-related manuals, books and articles. Her short stories have been published in several Anthologies and she is an active member of local writers' groups.
