I have had a very eclectic life full of different experiences from being educated as a psychologist, to doing fine art, and eventually making my living fixing wooden boats and designing sailing gear. Presently living on the coast of Maine enjoying the overall beauty, sailing and occasionally working on a wood boat. The Q&A Boat Repair book is my first venture into self publishing and I hope just the first in several other publishing projects. I presently manage 2 websites, www.mastmate.com, which advertises my design of a flexible nylon ladder that raises on the sail track and also provides the format for answering questions on boat repair from which came the material for the book. The other site, www.theannainstitute.org, speaks to my psychology background and deals with the trauma of child sexual abuse on which my wife Dr. Anna Jennings is an expert.
I have also been interested in developing a workbook to help individuals tell their life stories to leave to their next generations.
