I never finished high school when i was a child because of serious bullying, I often think of myself as the child who slipped through the net.
In 2013, aged 38 I was diagnosed with Asperger's which changed my life. All of a sudden I had an understanding of who I was, it all made sense. I didn't need to hide my oddness or eccentricities, instead I embraced them.
I started writing because my son enjoys reading. I wrote about a boy with Asperger's because i know what goes on in my head, and unfortunately it's all the other 'normal' people who are a mystery to me!
Writing has given me a new outlook on life, the response to my first novel has been amazing and I have since started work on my second novel.
