Lord David Prosser lives quietly in a small village in Wales. He is surrounded by the characters from all his books and of course has heavily disguised the cast's real names in order to avoid being sued. His wife and daughter obviously exist and have promised to take no action against him in exchange for his credit card. The first book in the series was My Barsetshire Diary (available via amazon.co.uk & Amazon.com ) and gave you a chance to meet the villagers and Oscar the alarm cat. The second book The Queen's Envoy is a prequel taking you back to the days when the Title became his. The third book continues where My Barsetshire Diary left off and David now has to honour Lady J's promise made on his behalf to help the dreaded Edna become a councillor. He lives in hopes of becoming rich enough to retire to somewhere that grows the beans to make his coffee, and maybe enough to let his wife go too. He promises to send postcards to Oscar the cat. Fourth book to honour the birth of his grandson was a book of anarchic poems based on animals 'Tall Anmal tales for Toddlers and Up'. This was followed by 'Memoirs of a Superior' which was written by Oscar the cat as a training manual to teach kittens how to manage the Longlegs. Followng th deaths of Oscar and Lady J in 2013 there was a long gap before the next book in 2024 which was 'More Files from the Envoy' as Lord David continues his problem solving journeys and his avoidance of Complicated females. The final book is now on Lulu.
