Lucifur Morningpaw began writing furry stories when he was deployed to Afghanistan. Forged Bonds was the first of those stories and began as a story in his head one night when he lay awake listening to the sounds of the FOB around him. It was right around the time when Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was repealed that Gabriel and Nikki began living in his head. He rolled their story in his head for a few weeks, then one chilly night began putting their journey to paper. Since then, several more characters have been popping into his head, and their stories will come out for readers to enjoy, as the fox and wolf duo have. He currently lives in Virginia with his best four legged buddy. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending his time exploring the rich history of the state and enjoying the company of friends that always offer him new ideas for places his characters could go and experiences they could have.
