Mauro Lausdei is a professional photographer. He was born in Rome and has produced a number of cultural/geographical documentary works inspired by his love for the unique beauty of Italian towns and villages, which form a magnificent legacy of Italy's rich history. Many of his photos have been published in books, magazines and products of tourist, cultural and artistic interest. He is a Nikon Professional Services (NPS) photographer and, since 1992, a member of Tau Visual, a prestigious Italian professional photographers' association. He was a staff writer for Casting, a sports periodical, which published many of his articles (copy and photos) and sent him as the official photographer to cover the 21st FIM Motocamp, organised by the International Motorcycling Federation, and several of the Premio Città di Roma sailing trophy events. www.maurolausdei.com
