About
Malcolm Nicholas

Born in London, Malcolm worked for many years as a Biomedical Scientist in the NHS. Subsequently training at Salisbury and Wells Theological College, he was ordained in 1984. As a priest he worked in paid and unpaid roles in the Dioceses of Portsmouth, Winchester and Lincoln, before retiring to Norfolk. Deeply ecumenical in experience and commitment, he relishes insights gained across the spectrum of church traditions, whilst retaining a love/hate relationship with his own. He has found laughter an important antidote to pretentiousness in both himself & religious institutions. He is, however, deeply serious about God, the church, justice, humanity, and the world. A Companion of The Northumbria Community, he occasionally works in various capacities at the Community mother-house, and preaches & offers spiritual accompaniment in North Norfolk. He much enjoys the wind in his face and the wonders of creation! Married to Tina, they have two grown-up children and six grandchildren.
