About
James Elliott McCall
James Elliott McCall. Not much can be said about him which is not found in his body of work. He was an eyewitness to the 1950s Jim Crow in East Texas, the 60s in Hollywood and San Francisco. He had a checkered career in the corrupt and clandestine areas of government stretching from the Nixon era through the excesses following 911. He is one of those who never existed performing actions which never occurred under orders never recorded. Later he became a University professor, just one more undercover façade. He spent his life drifting, got old and started writing about his adventures. All of his stories are based in actual events, filled with recognizable names, dates, places. His explanation, a quote from mentor Hunter Thompson "All of this shit happened, just not necessarily to me." He lives on the Mexican Bay of Campeche with his fourth wife who speaks no English and four vicious Chihuahuas. His patiently faithful tombstone remains blank; his eulogy can be found in his 'fiction'.
