These books and manuals were posted here as a way for a small group of us to remember... to be able to live again through the stories some of the wild adventures we had in the far remote regions of Alaska and the paradise islands of Hawaii. Here we learned from the land and from nature. We explored rainforest and glaciers, craggy mountains and vast tundra fields, lakes and streams, mighty rivers, and bears, salmon, eagles, ravens and seagulls, and Sea Lions. Began learning Shamanism in 1993 from an ailing Apache Medicine Man. He became Medicine Chief of his "Lost Tribe of the Mequon" just before he checked out of this life. He left behind a bunch of staff and students to carry-on his work. "Living Love" was his final conclusion in terms of mission and purpose. Kayaking, mountain climbing, and unforgettable encounters with weather and wildlife that made us wonder in awe or feel terror to the core- many life or death experiences and narrow escapes.
