A writer, actor, comedian, and storyteller, Ty has performed at The Story Salon, The Altadena Coffee Gallery Backstage Theater, the Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store and the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena. He has also appeared on BET's Comic View.
Ty co-wrote the stage shows The Father ‘Hood and Laugh at the Pain. The Father ‘Hood is a show that explores the poignant, tender and sometimes funny side of being a dad. Laugh at the Pain- explores life’s many “pains” and unveils the wacky and hilarious things about them.
Ty Fance- Born in Houston, Texas, Ty moved to California in 1975 where he attended high school and went on to earn an electrical engineering degree from California State University at Long Beach. After several years working as an electrical engineer, he started his career in stand-up comedy.
Ty lives in Altadena, California, is married and a father of three daughters.
