Vivian Varlowe
Born in Southern California, Vivian Varlowe has also lived in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Michigan, Minnesota, and Oregon. She has a great love for the United States and its history. Growing up, she heard stories of her ancestors walking across a continent, leaving their native country for a new life, and meeting the challenges of creating a new home. Vivian loves sharing her rich heritage, as she feels that her ancestors sacrificed to make this world a better place for her and others. Vivian says: “The Women of the Drifting Anchor Series is like a giant puzzle to me. I delight in creating the pieces of these peoples’ lives. It’s exciting to create them and then flesh them out. As the stories progress, the puzzle becomes more elaborate.” She looks forward to the creation of the sequel of the Drifting Anchor series, “The Children of the Drifting Anchor Ranch.”
