About Parrish W. Jones, Ph.D.
Parrish Jones is a minister in the Presbyterian Church USA and has served churches in Florida, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. He holds a M.Div in theology, and M.A. and Ph.D in philosophy. He has written for Presbyterians Today, the Presbyterian News Service, and various news papers.. His ministry has also included extensive volunteer mission work with Presbyterian Border Ministry and in Colombia. For the year 2007, he taught systematic theology at the Reformed (Presbyterian) University in Barranquilla. He is presently at work on a novel about a migrant family and a History of Presbyterian Border Ministry when he is not leading conferences, writing or lecturing on Faith and Migration or Colombia.
