About
grace lee
The Author Grace Lee lives in Far North Queensland, Australia. She is a freelance writer, artist, and poet, and she has been writing poetry since she was a child, partly to cope with a difficult childhood. She is a mother of five adult children, several grandchildren, and many Great-grandchildren, and reckons that there is so much more left to do in her life. In 1999, she won third prize in the ‘Claude Morris Original Bush Poetry’ competition, for her poem called ‘Possum’s Lament.’ This poem was published in the Cairns Tropical Writers book ‘Category Five.' A ghost story called ‘The Haunting,’ was accepted by an SBS televisions program in 2001, and some of her articles and stories have been published online, and in magazines. The Golden Cat books came from an idea, which soon stretched into two more books. Grace hopes that all the children out there will enjoy Peta's wonderful adventures. Grace has also added a book of poetry to the mix.
