Rich has enjoyed ancestral research since 1980 especially on his Ware and Anderson lines. These books on the Ware line are the result of many years of research and numerous trips to Indiana, California, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas and Texas to locate headstones and birth, marriage and death records and historical information. Living relatives were also contacted and hundreds of photos and documents were scanned to provide added documentation. In addition to research, Rich has enjoyed synthesizing the data and writing the histories of these notable Ware figures. In addition to research and writing, Rich is an avid photographer who has spent years creating portfolios for models and capturing some of the best scenery that nature offers. Professionally Rich worked 22 years as an IBM iSeries/IBMi midrange systems administrator and security officer. He is retired.
