Shirley G. Webb, a West Virginia native now living in Connecticut, is well known for her storytelling, author presentations for teacher’s conferences, and craft of writing presentations to various colleges and writers groups.
Webb’s first book was "Tales from the Keeper of the Myths: Cherokee Stories for Children." She has read to over 5,000 children from this book.
Webb, with co-author, close personal friend, and published poet, Janet M. Moreland, are the authors of “The Howell Women Saga,” historical romance fiction for Young Adults and Adults. The saga follows the lives of four generations of strong, independent Howell women from 1865 to 1953. Books in the saga are "Cherokee Love," "Dance in the Rain," and "Song of Love."
Webb and Moreland co-authored the first book in their “Choosing Love” series, "Echo of a Dream." This series is contemporary romance fiction for Young Adults and Adults, set in the mid-1970s. Webb is currently working on the second book in this series.
