Ted W. Snoddy is a local resident and accomplished photographer living in the rural mountains of San Diego, California. He grew up in Southern California learning to use the Brownie box camera as a youngtser. He attended high school in Long Beach, CA. He attended the University of Utah on an athletic scholarship and majored in Physical Education and Biology. After graduation he returned to California and settled in San Diego and was employed by Boys' Clubs of America for several years. He perfected his photography while working as a Deputy Sheriff and Detective for 20 years. Leaving that agency he worked for the District Attorney's Office as a Criminal Investigator where he further worked on his photography passion at crime scenes and of assault victims injuries. In retirement he enhanced and further developed his photographic skills under the teachings of famous worldwide photographers Ernie Cowan and Robert Oliver. His first photo book was launched in April 2011.
