My name is Ashley "Urbane Lyric" and I am a poet. Poetry is more than finding words to rhyme, learning how to count stanza's, and or writing where it is suitable for others to read. Poetry; in my opinion, is expressing different aspects of life throughout writing. Whether it is liked by readers or not, poetry is an art. I've found this world to be a battlefield and my pen as my weapon. Through my words, I am leading a revolution to revolutionize the mindsets and stereotypes that has tainted my society. Through the talent my heaveny father has given me; I am able to write and express, deliver, and change the view of my generation... Just one word, one stanza, one book at a time...
