Although my career in training started with horses, in dressage and eventing, changing over to dogs and adjusting my methods and focus to obedience and agility, rally, tracking and therapy work, as well as training service dogs and handlers to train their own service dogs, was an easy transition. I spent my college years doing my pre-vet and after several years working with vets at the race track and in private practice, as well as the vets that worked with my own horses, boarded horses and my own dogs, I eventually went into alternative therapies and have been enjoying that work, along with the training since 1998. Great Danes are my first love, but I have had many other breeds over the years, including many mixed breeds. My horses have been Appaloosas, suffice it to say, I love my spots! Animals of any kind have always been dear to me-helping in any way; healing, training, living with or loving, as long as they are a part of my life.
