As a native of New Orleans Louisiana, growing up in one of the worst crime era's in the history of the city. Writing became very therapeutic for me. Writing also helped me escape violence along with so many other negative influences. Although negativity was all around me, I was grateful to have both parents involved in my life. My mother was a nurse studying to become a doctor. My father is a very hard working man but a stand up type guy. My oldest brother taught me the importance of being independent. My grandmother Rosylnn is the reason why I value my family with unconditional love. My aunt's and uncle's are some of the strongest individuals I know still to this day. So let's just say none of this would be possible without their involvement or influences. Those are all reasons of why I decided to write and to become an author.
