Hi, I am Johan Hjelm. I have actually written 14 books, counting the latest one, Defensive Driving - the Japanese Way. My previous book, Why IPTV? was published by John Wiley & Sons, but I wanted to see what this self-publishing is about - if it is any different from the small publishing house I used to run in my native Sweden. This book came about when I got a Japanese drivers license, from the bottom up. I never had one before, but I know a lot about road safety since I wrote about it when I was a journalist - among other things. Getting a drivers license was pretty natural, since I live in Japan, have been for the past few years, and do not plan to move. Or at least, my wife does not plan to, so we will be around for the foreseeable future.
