About Dean Muehlberg
Author returned from service to obtain a degree in Accounting and Business Adminstration from the University of North Dakota. Upon graduation he sought and found work with a CPA firm in Rapid City, SD. He raised a family and spent nearly 40 years in Rapid City until retiring in 2010 and moving to Meridian, ID, to be nearer to his children. In 2005 he helped to establish the Black Hills Veterans Writing Group which had the mission of recording veterans' histories before they were lost, and to encourage veterans to write about their experiences.
