Bethany Ebert was raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Born to an engineer and a medical coding specialist, Ms. Ebert spent most of her childhood reading books and playing video games. Later she attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she penned the beginnings of what would later be her book Deathskull Bombshell. She has worked a number of jobs in her life, among them custodian, telemarketer, and HIV/AIDS outreach worker, but so far being a novelist is definitely the best.
