Brian McCormick, M.S.S., CSCS, PES is a professional basketball coach, author, and educator. McCormick coached professionally in Sweden and Ireland and has directed camps and clinics in Canada, China, Greece, India, Macedonia, Morocco and Trinidad & Tobago.
McCormick founded the Youth Basketball Coaching Association to provide free online coach education programs for non-profit organizations and the Playmakers Basketball Development League as a means of standardizing youth leagues around more developmental ideas and the Teaching Games for Understanding philosophy.
Additionally, McCormick has coached AAU, CYO, high school, junior college and college basketball and trained hundreds of players from beginners to professionals.
His books offer a range of insights, advice and information for coaches, parents and players and have sold in more than 40 countries worldwide.
