John Stevenson, known just as JJ, now lives alone with his characters in paradise. He has had two lives. The first in England: the second on both sides of the Tasman Sea. He thinks of these periods as before and after a journey half way around the world; which was also his genesis. He began seriously writing after an amicable divorce, in an attempt at self therapy to fill the empty rooms of his home. This worked admirably and the house and imagination are both now bubbling.
