Chanell J. Wilson is a multi-disciplinary artist and author. She has been writing songs, poetry, and short stories since the age of 13 and performing since the age of three. She has studied Theatre Arts, Screenwriting, Film Editing, and Recording Arts at DVC, SFSU and Academy of Art University. She is the author of "Braidgirl:The Hair Braiding Instructional ebook, Poverty's Finest, Weekends Only, I'll Tear your House Down, and Identity?:A Hair Memoir. She also released an EP Project "Black Heart on the Table Vol 1: a Warrior's Lament. Currently, she resides in Northern California with her son.
