A native Texan who, for practical purposes, never lived in Texas, Watts Martin grew up around Tampa Bay, Florida, where he lived for the better part of three decades. He has published dozens of stories, mostly in places you haven't heard of, and has made literally tens and tens of dollars from his stories. He was the writing guest of honor at the very first Anthrocon as well as Eurofurence 14.
While his stated career goal at 20 was to be a famous novelist at 30, he instead drifted into computer work. He now lives in Santa Clara, California, where he is still working on that first novel.
