Jim is Clan Strachan Sennachie (or Historian) and serves on the Clan Council. Jim is also a Co-Founder of the Clan Strachan Society in the United States, and a Trustee of the Clan Strachan Charitable Trust in Scotland. Jim specializes in Medieval History, and in particular to that associated with Clan Strachan. All proceeds from these books sales go directly to the Clan Strachan Scottish Heritage Society's General Fund to cover operating expenses.
