Welcome! Here's a very brief Bio of yours truly... Born in Pittsburg, Pa in 1952, I moved with my family to Texas at the age of 5 - and have lived in Texas ever since, now residing and freelancing as a photographer in Austin, Texas. As far as formal training goes, although I do have a graduation certificate from the New York Institute of Photography, most of my technical knowledge of photography has come from other Pro Photographers - either through in person workshops, or online through many of the various user groups, tutorials, and social network sites. I have had a genuine passion for Photography from about 12 years old on. I love to shoot nature and landscape images, and try to develop a certain amount of intimacy with every subject I shoot - so that I can more effectively convey to the viewer (through the visual medium of photography) a genuine sense or feeling of the beauty and essence of the subject as I sensed and felt it at the time.
