Darlene Lewis was born with the gift of pen and prose. Writing since 8 years old, Darlene Lewis' poems and articles have been published in magazines. When her poems and news articles were published in The Amsterdam News, Class Magazine, and other tabloids in her teens, she began to learn the business side of publishing. Darlene Lewis is known as a tv producer of hiphop music video talk shows in the early 80's on Paragon Cable's public access. Her DVD Moments in Hiphop showcases those early years of hip-hop.
