David Ahlgren was born the first time in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1959. After enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in the fall of 1980, he was born a second time on September 13th into a reconciled relationship with God through Jesus Christ while going through Basic Training in San Antonio, Texas. He went on to Korean language schooling in Monterey, California, then on to San Angelo, Texas a year later, where he began writing poetry expressing his walk with Christ. Over the years he has continued writing the things in his heart that God opened his eyes to see as he moved throughout the country and other parts of the world. Lately practical theology to address key doctrines has been the direction God has been leading, from salvation to sanctification, from foundations to higher building in our lives. David resides in Virginia with his wife Julia. Besides writing and seeking to live what God says in His word, he is active in his local church as a teaching elder, and still enjoys photography and computer security.
