Our goal is to provide self-teaching workbooks to parents and educators. The books are designed to help children get caught up to grade level and to prevent others from falling behind. The workbooks can also be used to help people who have dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Students who cannot read in fourth grade will be behind when they leave third grade. Then, they not only need help with reading, they need help with reading comprehension. By fourth grade, poor readers will have missed out on literacy in history, science, and social studies. The only way to solve the problem is to teach them to read at fourth grade level before they leave third grade.“Early Reading Skills” is a supplemental workbook. It teaches alphabetics, phonetics, and syllabication. Reading helps them excel in all areas of academics.
