Why write a book about the Moon? My interest and passion in space travel goes back to when I was 7 years old. I was at a friend's birthday party where his Dad put everyone into a garden shed and had us believe we were taking a space rocket trip to the Moon! It was very exciting and made a huge impression on me and probably others at the party. Thank you Rory's Dad for that brilliant idea! I still have a passion for astronomy. A year ago I had a thought: What would it be like to host an Olympic Games on the moon? I thought it would be so funny with the low gravity. Andy Murray could hit a tennis lob and still have time to sit down and eat a banana before returning the ball! A year ago I also started participating, with 50 team mates, on a 1 year Team, Management and Leadership programme produced by Landmark Education. One of the aims of the programme is to create and play games in our lives and I started to image being with my team mates on the Moon creating the Olympic Games...
