I grew up in southern Ohio and in mid-Michigan. In college, I majored in Art and English, and I currently reside in the Kansas City area, working in IT support and as a Technical Writer. My hobbies include reading, writing, nature, camping, movies, photography, and podcasting. My novels explore spiritual themes, but can be enjoyed regardless of faith (or lack thereof). My non-fiction books reflect years of study, questions, and "seeking." Over the years, I struggled with the disparity between what Jesus taught and the teachings and practices of modern Christianity, and realized that "relationship" with God was far more important than what denomination you attended. My views may occasionally challenge the religious traditions of readers, but remain consistent with the Gospel of Christ and sound Biblical teachings.
